Full Day Trips
Typically six hours from meeting to finish, including lunch on a remote beach.

A typical full day trip could be :
Starting at Peel Castle we journey south beneath the towering cliffs, admiring the vivid rock formations and exploring the sea caves. We enjoy seal colonies and abundant bird life, including Guillemots, Shags and rarely, Puffins! Lunch at Niarbyl ‘the tail of rocks' and see the little thatched cottage and surrounding spectacular coastal views made famous by the film ‘Waking Ned'. Packing away the flasks we get underway, paddling past the rounded headlands, rocky shores, stacks and intermittent caves, toward Bradda Head and the Calf of Man. Arriving at the sandy bay overlooked by Port Erin and pulling the kayaks up the beach we taste a delicious Manx Ice Cream from the Parlour by the shore.

Of the many sections of stunning coastline boasted by the Island, this is one of my favourite paddles; second only by the circumnavigation of the Calf of Man. Writing cannot do that trip justice, as the experience is breathtaking.

2 / 3 day Mini Expedition, Including Night Paddling

Sea Kayaking during the day, taking in the scenery, bird and marine life, looking out for Porpoises and Dolphins, exploring the hidden inlets and sea caves. Wild Bivi / Camping and also the opportunity to paddle out at night, make this a very memorable experience.

Circumnavigation of the Isle of Man

Sea Kayak around the coastline of the Isle of Man (85 miles in total). Led by highly experienced and qualified BCU instructors. The views from a kayak are second to none. Visit secret places only accessible by our small craft, gaze at the spectacular sea cliffs, observe the seals, porpoises and wildlife unobtrusively whilst looking out for the Basking Sharks feeding on route!

Calf of Man Tidal Races and Overfalls

Kayak around the awesome Calf of Man, arguably the Island 's most beautiful and naturally spectacular location.
Led by a highly qualified and experienced BCU guide, the day trip involves paddling through the tidal races and Overfalls, observing the hugh seal colonies and abundant wild and marine life, where recorded sightings of many rare birds, and even Minke Whales and Orcas have been noted.
